SXSW 2022 Lineup New Music and More

With the Sundance Film Festival gone completely virtual this year, we look to SXSW 2022 right around the corner in March to welcome in-person attendance and a return to the festival circuit we dearly miss. The SXSW lineup and schedule is starting to show some true firepower, injecting some excitement around the major festival event. The place where leaders in music, film and tech all come together to celebrate innovation and the creatives and just enjoy the good ol’ Austin vibes and tons and tons of music. Now we have the confirmed guests, keynotes and artists scheduled to attend starting to increase and SXSW is gaining steam. 

This year is the 36th edition of the SXSW Conference and Festival. SXSW has plans for a hybrid event integrating an online component to the festival. Historically, SXSW has played a key role in the discovery of hidden talent. Those who started or took their careers to next level heights at the massive music festival were notable artists such as The White Stripes, MGK, Grimes, and others like Katy Perry road through SXSW on their way to fame and stardom.

SXSW 2022 Lineup and Keynotes

This week, SXSW announced the following Keynotes to this year’s SXSW 2022 Conference schedule. They include Lizzo, Beck, Neal Stephenson and Celine Tricart. SXSW 2022 will include one Keynote speaker per day at 1pm CT from Friday, March 11 through Saturday, March 19. 

Over 90 artists will be performing at this year’s SXSW event. And 99 feature films will be presented at the SXSW Film Festival this year. Quin NFN, Luna, and a plethora more of showcasing artists have been announced for the festival taking place in Austin from March 11th – March 20th. 

The SXSW 2022 Featured Speakers were just announced and the speakers run the gamut from Sara Bareilles, BEEPLE, Cast of Busy Philipps, to Mark Cuban, Greg Daniels, James Ellroy, Falon Fatemi, Scott Galloway, Renée Elise Goldsberry, Sec. Deb Haaland, Tristan Harris, Frances Haugen, Ethan Hawke, Noah Hawley, Rashida Jones, Donna Langley,Al Roker, Tye Sheridan, Jim VandeHei, Pam Wasserstein, The Boys, Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, Ben McKenzie, Jonathan Van Ness, Bob Odenkirk, Guy Raz, Chrissy Teigen, and Noah Oppenheim.
