SpaceX successfully launched four astronauts aboard Crew 3 earlier today. It was reported that Crew-3 would initially launch on Halloween. As is sometimes the case with space travel, it took an additional ten days for the launch to lift off and today the Crew 3 mission successfully did just that. Bad weather and unspecified reasons lead to the launch taking place earlier today at NASA’s Kennedy Space Center in Florida.
The four astronauts aboard the Dragon C210 called Endurance are on a mission set to dock at the International space station on Thursday. Then the astronauts will spend an estimate of six months in orbit performing different science and maintenance operations. The four astronauts on board are NASA astronauts Raja Chari, Tom Marshburn, and Kayla Barron, as well as European astronaut Matthias Maurer.
