Make plans and save the date, Deer Valley Resort will celebrate the start of the new ski season on their Opening Day, Saturday, December 8th, by giving back to the local community with “Shred For Red”, a feel good, family event created to fundraise and raise awareness for The Lukemia & Lymphoma Society.
Participants who raise or donate a minimum of $200.00 (or $100.00 if you are 12 and under and are accompanied by a participating adult) will receive a full day ski pass to Deer Valley Ski Resort.
And this is just where the fun begins! Participants will also receive a stylish “Shred For Red” bib to shred down the slopes of Deer Valley in pride, and an invitation to an apres-ski reception with food, beverages and a photo opportunity with Olympians.
“We are excited to kick off another unforgettable ski season with fun challenges and friendly competition, all for the sake of giving back to an incredible organization,” said Coleen Reardon, Deer Valley Resort’s Director of Marketing. “We encourage our guests to be as generous as possible to raise funds for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society and support their mission of eradicating blood cancers.”
