MTV VMAs 2021 Fashion and the Red Carpet

Pop Music’s finest showed up in New York City at Barclay’s Center last night for the 2021 MTV Video Music Awards. Everyone looked to be having a such a solid good time as the stars arrived on the red carpet and entered the home of the Brooklyn Nets. All good vibes in the house for MTV’s most anticipated event of the year, as well as the music industries party in New York City.

The event takes place one day before the long awaited 2021 Met Gala in Manhattan. The 2021 VMA Voting Information and Video Music Award nominees from your absolute favorite celebrity rockstars with the likes of Lil Nas X, Madonna, Dojo Cat, and MGK showing up with Megan Fox.

When we look at the MTV VMA red carpet for 2021 we classic styles and bold fashion come into play. Lavender is all the rage this fall season and Lil Nas X came to play in a lavender colored Prince meets Lil Richie hybrid inspired combination that just screams ooh! I love it.

Lil Nas X took home the top prize at the Video Music Awards which is naturally Music Video of the year. He one it for “Montero (Call Me by Your Name)”. I don’t think that this win comes as a surprise to anyone. The music video for “Montero” was bold and beautiful.

Olivia Rodrigo Arrives at the 2021 MTV Video Music Awards

Olivia Rodrigo made her presence known on the red carpet when she came in an ombre pink Versace dress and a big smile to celebrate her time at the 2021 MTV VMAs. Olivia Rodrigo won song of the year with her hit single “Drivers License”. Before being honored onto the stage to win a Moon Man she graced the stage and performed “Good 4 U” that she also won an award for.
