JoJo’s Stone Ocean Sets Netflix Release Date

Netflix Stone Ocean is the long awaited 6th story arch of the modern classic Japanese anime JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure. Capturing the hearts and minds of Otaku with psychic abilities and wit, the saga of the Joestar family began in 1989 when Hirohiko Araki released the first series editions on the popular Manga anthology Weekly Shōnen Jump. By the third story arch Stardust Crusaders, JoJo’s Bizarre gained massive popularity in Japan and reached international success in the early 2010s.

The first five parts of JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure anime are available to stream on Netflix. Fans have been waiting for developments on Stone Ocean since 2019. And now finally after a live stream with the creator that took place on April 4, announcing that it will be released via Netflix, further announcements offer more enlightenment into the Netflix world wide release of Stone Ocean.

For fans of JoJo’s Bizarre, the news that came last April by the creator of the series, Hirohiko Araki of confirmation that Netflix will release the upcoming 6th story arch, Stone Ocean could not have come fast enough. Now, a little more than four months later, Netflix has given us a release date along with a trailer and some details regarding the cast and elements of key visual art for the upcoming series.
