CODA takes home the 2022 Best Picture Award at the Oscars this year. The winner of the Best Picture at the 94th Academy Awards stole the show as Sian Heder’s CODA took the Oscar from Power of the Dog who was favored to win. The film stars Emilia Jones and Troy Kotsur who became the first deaf man to win an Oscar for his role in the film. CODA originally premiered at the Sundance Film Festival in 2021 before taking a slow but steady course towards it’s Oscar victory.
