Champagne Carpet at the Oscars

For the 95th Academy Awards it was announced that the famous red carpet that has graced us for 62 years will have an alteration in color. The color of the carpet at this year’s Oscars will be champagne. The Academy decided to go for a more subtle, relaxed approach to the glitter and glamerous celebrity style we are all use to. Lisa Love and Raúl Àvila are the red carpet creative consultants who executed the daring choice.

Why Champagne Color at the Oscars?

Jimmy Kimmel joked about it as he returns to hosting the Oscar’s this year. Although parts of Twitter are not feeling the jokes made. The internet is gripping to their computer chairs waiting to see how JImmy Kimmel and the Oscar’s approach and address the Will Smith Oscar Slap of last year.
