What might be the most exciting music news to come out of 2021 so far is the very recent announcement of the Austin City Limits 2021 lineup scheduled to take place in Austin, Texas in early October of this year 2021. ACL’s 2021 schedule is packed with a diverse, strong lineup of music artists from a variety of different genres such as Country, Hip Hop, Pop Music, Americana, and Classic Rock and Roll. With stellar headliners to boot, those who are lucky enough to attend this year’s festival are in for most likely in for a solid good time and walk away from the event with a new found appreciation for some unexplored music.

When is Austin City Limits 2021

Austin City Limits is scheduled will begin on October 1st, 2021 and the last day will be October 10th, 2021. ACL will take place on the weekend starting Friday, October 1st, Saturday, October 2nd, and Sunday, October 3rd and the following week as well.

ACL 2021 Lineup – Who are the Headliners?

It appears to me that Austin City Limits has dedicated some serious time in selecting a roster of headliners that reflects the diversity of their fans and concert goers. The festival returns in 2021 after taking a year off and this year the festival headliners include the fabulous Miley Cyrus, pop sensation Billie Eilish will return after gracing the stage in 2019, classic country artist George Strait, DaBaby, Erykah Badu, Rufus Du Sol, and one of my personal favorites and a massive influence for me, the one and only Stevie Nicks.

All of these artists are exceptional artists in their own right and each individual artist knows how to perform and put on a show. The lineup is strong with pretty much a fierce collection of music artists and bands that includes Modest Mouse, Machine Gun Kelly, Phoebe Bridgers, Greta Von Fleet, Black Pumas, Freddie Gibbs, Megan Thee Stallion, Doja Cat, and many other fabulous artists.

ACL 2021 Tickets Sold Out in Record Time

This is the 20th anniversary of Austin City Limits and the event is scheduled to take place during the first two weekends of October 2021 in Austin Texas (The weekend of October 1st – 3rd and the weekend of October 8th – October 10th).

However, don’t get too excited and rush over to the online ticket office, a lot like Coachella, the festival only takes place during the weekend and the event is SOLD OUT. The event sold out in record time leaving many music fans waiting for the next big news regarding concerts, festivals, and events. Worth mentioning is also that the city of Austin has teamed up with ACL to encourage concert-goers and ticket holders to get vaccinated in the months leading up to the festival.
