Yesterday, the Sundance Film Festival kicked off. On Main Street in Park City, AT&T had a day packed full of celebration with the premiere of the WarnerMedia Lodge: Elevated Storytelling With AT&T. Attendees had the opportunity to enjoy the days events at the lodge including panels, cocktail parties, a special dinner, a surprise birthday for a Sundance alumni, and interviews taking place in the Variety Studio.
The cast of Miss Juneteenth, Alexis Chikaeze, Kendrick Sampson and Nicole Beharie stop by to promote the film with Carrie Keagan alongside the film’s director Channing Godfrey Peoples. The film is People’s first feature film.
The director of Wander Darkly Tara Miele and co-stars Sienna Miller, and Diego Luna, stopped by the lodge, as well as Joe Keery and David Arquette from the film Spree.
The WarnerMedia Snowpiercer and Miracle Workers Dinner took place at the lodge. Lena Hall arrived via birthday cake to perform for a surprise to Daveed Diggs for his birthday during the dinner. Daveed Diggs premiered Blindspotting at Sundance in 2018. He wrote and starred in the film alongside his good friend Rafael Casal.
What better way to finish the first night then an after-party with one of this decades most influential songwriters and music men, and lead frontman of the band National, Matt Berninger. Matt’s stripped down sultry performance was appreciated by fans of the artist while also introducing his work to a new set of listeners.
All of the magic of Sundance, as the snow fell outside and the stars roll in for Sundance. AT&T and the WarnerMedia Lodge promise an incredible line-up of events scheduled in honor of the filmmakers of Sundance Film Festival this year.
